Ryan received his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law. He has served on multiple task forces, including the Mid-Michigan Regional Sobriety Court, 29th Circuit Swift and Sure Sanctions Probation Program and Gratiot County Indigent Defense Board. His past engagement in the community includes the City of Alma Planning Commission and the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gratiot and Montcalm Counties.
